Viega introduces larger-diameter fittings for the Viega PEX Press polymer fitting system. The fittings now are available in sizes up to 2” and include the Smart Connect feature for joining cross-linked polyethylene tubing. The new system is suitable for potable water and radiant applications in residential and light commercial projects. The fittings are compliant with zero-lead requirements. The system uses the same hand and power tools as the bronze PEX Press system to join PEX tubing using plastic fittings without O-rings, glues, cements or lubricants.
