Aquatherm’s polypropylene-random piping systems feature a threadless transition from PP-R pipe to fixture units and flush valves. Aquatherm-to-copper stub-outs come in 1/2”, 3/4” and 1” diameters. Aquatherm teamed with Sioux Chief to create this new stub-out, which represents a more mainstream transition method for potable and graywater service. The PP-R portion of the stub-out is mold-injected PP-R manufactured in Germany and is connected via heat fusion. The copper portion is manufactured in the United States by Sioux Chief and is connected using standard copper solder joints or compression fittings.
