Viega introduces larger diameter fittings for the Viega PEX Press polymer fitting system. The fittings now are available in sizes up to 2" and include the Smart Connect feature for joining cross-linked polyethylene tubing. The system is suitable for potable water and radiant applications in residential and light commercial projects. The fittings feature corrosion resistance and compliance with zero-lead requirements, as well as NSF approval. The Smart Connect feature enables installers to easily spot unpressed connections during pressure testing by allowing water to flow past the fitting on a missed connection.
