With Btu inputs from 16,000 to 199,900 and flow rates of 0.5 gpm to 11.1 gpm, the NRC1111 from Noritz can meet the hot-water needs of most very large residential applications. Capable of delivering an Energy Factor of 0.92, the NRC1111 uses a secondary heat exchanger, made entirely of stainless steel, to transfer heat energy from the exhaust gas to incoming cold water. This preheating process lowers the temperature of the flue gases, permitting an additional, cost-saving benefit: vent runs with less-expensive, installer-friendly Schedule 40 PVC piping.
