Haws Offers New Service For Vintage Drinking Fountains
The Haws Corp. will begin offering an organized service for assisting engineers, contractors and owners with refurbishing the company’s vintage drinking fountains currently in service. Some are installed in buildings that are being refurbished or placed into adaptive re-use where the building is approved for uses other than its original, such as the Oats Park School in Fallon, Nev.
It was originally a K-12 school built by Frederick J. DeLongchamps in 1914. It was decommissioned in the mid-1970s, and placed on both the State and National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
