After receiving more than his share of requests for toilet parts no matter what year, make or model, contractor J.P. Shields from Long Island did something about it -- he launched a Web site.
The Web site contains a database of parts for one- and two-piece toilets; wall-hung toilets and bowls; flushometer bowls; and wall-outlet bowls. Currently, the most parts information covers American Standard, in some cases, all the way back to 1930. Shields says information on Barclay Products; Briggs; Case; and Crane Plumbing will soon be available.
