Two New Jersey pluming organizations nailed down their biggest victory to date against Sears, Roebuck and Co. in their attempt to prevent the retail conglomerate from advertising plumbing contracting work in the state.
A proposed bill that would have stopped OSHA from promulgating an ergonomics standard was killed in the Capitol last month in a compromise between Republican and Democratic House Appropriations Committee leaders.
