State Water Heaters and its driver, Ward Burton, helped lead NASCAR fans in a Memorial Day tribute to America’s armed forces. Held at Lowe’s Motor Speedway (Charlotte, N.C.), the salute kicked off a nationwide effort to raise funds for military families in need. The NASCAR team owners, sponsors and drivers donated the space on their cars to collectively thank the nation’s military.

The No. 4 State Water Heaters Chevy (pictured), owned by Morgan-McClure Motorsports, proudly displayed a U.S. Air Force 60th anniversary paint scheme. Nine other NASCAR drivers participated in the event, each supporting a particular branch of the military.
