The 50th project of “This
Old House” is an eco-friendly remodel in Austin, Texas, a city that’s been
leading the “green” movement in this country. “‘Green’ does not have to be
experimental or expensive,” said
Deborah Hood,
the show’s producer. “Instead, we’re learning that green is basically just good
planning and smart building.”
