Elkay's Heilstedt Retires

John E. Heilstedt, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Elkay, has retired from the company. He will continue on a consultation basis with Elkay, but wants to pursue opportunities with other companies, particularly those who serve many channels within the PHC industry.

He joined Elkay in 1992 as vice president of sales and marketing, and was promoted to his last position in 1998. He served as a board member of the Environmental Education Committee of PHCC-National Association, and was chairman of the American Supply Association's Vendor Member Division. He also served as board member and president of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Information Bureau in the 1990s.
