AMPAM Reports Operating Results

American Plumbing & Mechanical Inc. announced its operating results for the quarter and fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2000. Revenues in the fourth quarter increased 21 percent to $145.6 million, versus $120.8 million for the comparable quarter in 1999. Income from operations was $10 million for the period, versus $9.6 million in the fourth quarter of 1999.

Chairman, President and CEO Robert Christianson commented, "Although housing starts are expected to weaken in the near-term, we still anticipate a record performance in 2001." AMPAM estimates 2001 revenues will be about $610 million. AMPAM's backlog at 2000 year-end (excluding single-family residential) was $215 million.
