EMCOR Appoints Guzzi President, Reports Revenue Increase

EMCOR Group appointed Anthony J. Guzzi as its new president and chief operating officer. Frank T. MacInnis will remain as chairman and chief executive officer. Prior to coming to EMCOR, Guzzi held a variety of senior leadership positions at United Technologies Corp. and its subsidiary Carrier Corp.

In other news, the company reported an increase in revenues for the third quarter of 2004, as well as year-to-date figures. For the first nine months of the year, revenues were $3.52 billion, compared to $3.36 billion for the same period in 2003. Third-quarter revenues were $1.22 billion, compared with $1.16 billion in 2003.
