The Radiant Professionals Alliance is close to concluding negotiations with IAPMO for a home for RPA membership and services.

In a letter to its members, theRadiant Professionals Alliance(RPA), formerly Radiant Panel Association, announced that it is close to concluding negotiations with the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) for the continuation of a home for RPA membership and services.

RPA was founded in 1993 and is committed toward the expansion and promotion of radiant technologies, as well as radiant designers, installers, manufacturers and servicemen. But due to the rapidly changing HVAC industry, RPA has decided to meet its members’ needs by teaming up with IAPMO.

”As the sponsor of the American National Standard-designated Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and Uniform Mechanical Code (UMC), IAPMO members are dedicated to working in concert with government and industry safe, sanitary plumbing and mechanical systems,” stated RPA PresidentDorothy Biggs. “In seeking to increase the scope and influence of the radiant panel industry, RPA sees IAPMO as the perfect place to provide a future home for RPA members.

“IAPMO’s desire to advance the mission of the RPA and to provide an enhanced level of professional services and support will be a win-win for the membership of both associations,” she said.

RPA expects the details of the negotiation to be finalized by the end of the year.
