About 60 people celebrated the career of T-Drill Industries Commercial Sales Manager Dick Nelson at a retirement dinner during the AHR Expo.

About 60 people celebrated the career of T-Drill Industries Commercial Sales ManagerDick Nelsonat a retirement dinner Jan. 31 in Las Vegas during the AHR Expo.

Nelson began to work for T-Drill almost 30 years ago when he helped to introduce the portable tee-forming machines and cutting tools to U.S. mechanical and plumbing contractors. Speakers at the dinner noted that under his watch, more than 40 million tees made with T-Drill equipment have been installed on North American jobsites, and the installation method now meets more than 26 different codes and compliances.

Jim Peters, president of T-Drill Inc., gave the opening speech at the dinner. Other speakers includedHarold Moretof the Copper Development Association and manufacturers repGrant Brekkeof Brekke Sales Co., who gave a photo presentation of Nelson’s life and career.

Osmo Syrenius, CEO, andErkki Kaijasilta, president of T-Drill OY, presented Nelson with a number of gifts, including a high-tech Suunto watch and an Alaskan cruise.
