Taco announces the addition of a new online educational opportunity for members of its FloPro Team - a three-part program titled "Circulator Selection for Radiant," narrated by Taco training directorJohn Barba.

During the presentation, Barba discusses the unique challenges involved in proper circulator selection for a radiant floor heating system. This program discusses how to calculate head loss through supply and return piping for radiant manifolds, as well as additional head loss through mixing valves, and how that extra head loss can have a huge impact on which circulator you'll need to do the job.

Barba will also show how the Taco 00R 3-speed Circulator is an ideal option for these challenging jobs, as well as how to select the correct speed for the correct application.

"Circulator Selection For Radiant" is just the first addition to the Education section of the FloPro Team Web site (www.floproteam.com). Over the next several weeks, Taco will be adding educational programs on "The Evolution of Radiant Mixing" and "Multi-Temp, Multi-Load." These programs join the existing Taco training programs available online, including:
  • FloPro Designer Software
  • Injection Mixing
  • Variable Speed Delta-T
  • Product Videos
  • Universal Hydronics Formula
  • Variable Speed Circulators
