Bradford White Corp. has provided $15,000 to support this year’s student scholarships through the PHCC Educational Foundation and PHCC National Auxiliary.

Bradford White Corp. has provided $15,000 to support this year’s student scholarships through thePlumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Educational Foundationand PHCC National Auxiliary. The scholarships are designed to attract and support new talent that is essential to the future of the plumbing and HVACR industry.

Half of Bradford White’s support ($7,500 in scholarships) is awarded through the PHCC Educational Foundation. The 2009 scholarship award recipients are:
    Nathan Glibbery of Bonita, Calif., who is enrolled as a first-year apprentice in the PHCC of San Diego Apprentice Program.

    Heather Grout of Riverside, Iowa who is currently enrolled as a first-year apprentice in the Iowa PHCC State Apprentice Program.

    William Hughes of Janesville, Wis., who is working to complete a two-year HVACR degree from Blackhawk Technical College.

The remaining $7,500 in Bradford White’s scholarship support is awarded through the PHCC National Auxiliary, with winners to be announced during the PHCC-National Association convention in New Orleans, Oct. 21-23.
