Kohler signs on to outfit the house with water-saving showerheads, faucets and toilets.

Green Life Smart Life™, a Rhode Island-based green building showcase home, announce the addition of www.Kohler.comKohler to the project. The company will supply the home with high-efficiency faucets, showerhead fixtures and EPA WaterSense 1.1 gpf toilets, as well as use its Kohler Cast Iron line of 93% recycled cast-iron sinks and tubs throughout the home.

Water conservation is a key objective at Kohler, the company says, and the products being used in the Green Life Smart Life home will help homeowners conserve roughly 32.8% over an average family, a projection of more than 93,000 gallons of water annually.

Kohler recently launchedSaveWaterAmerica.com, a viral campaign dedicated to teach homeowners how easy it is to save water. The website gives homeowners water saving tips and techniques, water saving products, and for every person who takes their survey, $1 will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
