Connecticut’s News-Times reports that Lynn Taborsak, a retired plumber, will be honored next week by the Connecticut State Building Trades, the Permanent Commission on the Status of Women, and Carpenter's Union Local 24. She is one of 19 women being lauded who have retired or are approaching retirement from careers in the building trades they embarked on in the 1970s and 1980s.
