BrassCraft Mfg. Co. announced a full range of compliant
products in response to new laws enacted in California and Vermont. Beginning
July 1, 2009, BrassCraft’s compliant products will include brass stops, a vast
array of solid brass fittings, and Speedi Plumb® PLUS connectors for most any
job, including water heater applications.
California and Vermont legislation,
effective Jan. 1, 2010, will limit the lead content of pipes, pipe fittings or
plumbing fittings/fixtures intended to convey or dispense water for human
consumption through drinking or cooking.
