The American Fire Sprinkler Association unveiled a recruitment brochure for its newest “Become a Life-Saver” fire sprinkler layout technician recruitment campaign.

The American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) is looking to inspire a new generation of math- and computer-minded youth to pursue a job in the growing fire protection industry through its newest “Become a Life-Saver” fire sprinkler layout technician recruitment campaign.

The first in a series of fire sprinkler layout technician recruitment materials is a recruitment brochure, designed to target high school and college-age students to build their interest and educate them about the many benefits of a career in fire protection by focusing on the fire sprinkler industry as a career with a future: one that saves lives, offers good pay and benefits, and provides the opportunity to earn while you learn.

Complete with a detailed step-by-step guide, the 13-piece fire sprinkler fitter recruitment program, launched in Fall 2007, features: English- and Spanish-language brochure targeted toward fire sprinkler fitter candidates, black and white as well as color newspaper ads, classified ads, display banners, direct mail piece, PowerPoint presentation, radio ad scripts, sample newspaper article, and high school guidance program mailing.

The downloadable brochure is available at www.firesprinkler.org free-of-charge to AFSA members. It can be altered at virtually any neighborhood printer, so members can customize it to include items such as personal contact information, company logo, etc.
