Elkay's Ronald Katz, Jack Edl will retire, and Timothy Jahnke is installed as new CEO.

TheElkayBoard of Directors has announced thatRonald C. Katzintends to retire from his position as chairman and chief executive officer of Elkay Mfg. Co. effective Dec. 1, 2007. At that time, he will assume the position of executive chairman of the Board of Directors. Katz has served as CEO since 1985, and began his employment with Elkay in 1953. He is the grandson and son of the co-founders of Elkay.

John P. (Jack) Edl also has announced his plans to retire from his position as president and chief operating officer, effective Dec. 1.  Edl will continue to serve on Elkay’s Board of Directors and will assume the position of vice chairman. He will serve as an advisor to Katz and to Elkay's newly appointed president and CEO, Timothy J. Jahnke. Jahnke, most recently was group president, Home and Family Products Group of Newell Rubbermaid.

In other Elkay news, Jim Scott, president of Elkay's Plumbing Product's Division, has announced his plan to retire from Elkay on Jan. 1, 2008, after more than 30 years serving the company. Steve Rogers will replace Scott as the new president of Elkay's PPD.
