The International
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials and the American Backflow
Prevention Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding reflecting
both organizations’ common goal of “protecting the public’s drinking water from
pollution and contamination occurring from possible cross contaminations.” The
memorandum was signed by IAPMO PresidentRon Rice, IAPMO Executive DirectorRuss Chaney, ABPA
PresidentRichard Koenig,
and ABPA External Affairs Committee ChairRon Chapman.
