George Morlan Plumbing in late June opened its Northwest Portland Design Center doors to fans of KPAM and the station’s popular morning announcer Bob Miller for “Bobapalooza,” a KPAM listener-apprecation concert featuring Bob Miller’s Almost All Star Band. Some 250 listeners earned tickets for the event by signing on to the radio station’s Web page.
Nationally known comedian Art Krug warmed up the audience with his unique “guy next door” comic routine before the concert. Morlan salespeople served arena food and beverages to add to the festive atmosphere.
