MoreThe Home Depot recently opened its third Home Depot Fuel store. The new location is in Acworth,Ga., and houses a 2,700-sq.-ft. convenience store, a filling station and a car wash, which can handle large pickup trucks and vans. A separate diesel island was built to accommodate large vehicles.
Home Depot opened two other fuel store locations earlier this year in Brentwood, Tenn., and Hermitage, Tenn. As the company evaluates the success of this concept, it will decide whether to expand to other markets.
