Two workshops for plumbing and HVAC instructors are scheduled for March.

HVAC Excellence is hosting its first National HVAC Educators and Trainers Conference March 26-27 at the Circus Circus Casino and Resort in Las Vegas. The conference brings together people from schools, manufacturing, distribution and education administration who are involved in HVACR training. Also, The HVACR & Plumbing Instructor Workshop will be held March 28-30 at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va., sponsored by nine organizations across the HVACR and plumbing industry - ACCA, ARI, CARE, GAMA, HARDI, NATE, PHCC, RSES, and SkillsUSA. Two general sessions will deal with the hot topic of energy and its future. Other topics include: troubleshooting well and storm pumps; psychometrics and comfort; R-22 phase-out update; new joining presses for copper and copper alloy; right-sizing hydronics; computer technology; and teaching the fundamentals of electricity.
