As of Dec. 31, 2006, total backlog was a record $3.50 billion, an increase of 26.7 percent over backlog of $2.76 billion at the end of 2005, and higher than backlog levels of $3.40 billion reported at the end of the 2006 third quarter. Private sector commercial and hospitality backlog represented 56 percent of total backlog at the end of 2006, vs. 40 percent on Dec. 31, 2005, and 54 percent at Sept. 30, 2006.
