Steam bath manufacturer ThermaSol has contracted with The Travel Channel's Samantha Brown as product spokesperson to endorse its complete product offerings for residential and commercial divisions, including steam baths, home spas and day spas. Brown will endorse the products through testimonial, video and with personal appearances. The consumer campaign was set to launch the first quarter of 2006.
In other news, ThermaSol was awarded the Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design for its thermostatically controlled retractable steam head with integral aroma oil well. It was recognized for its inventive features engineered for superior safety - when not in use, the steam head is flush to the wall, and when on, the center protrudes. The steam head is scheduled to be on display at the museum beginning this spring.
