If you'd like to help tsunami relief efforts in South Asia but don't have any extra cash after the holidays, you can donate frequent flyer miles or reward points. United Airlines, Northwest Airlines and Delta have programs set up for their frequent-flyer members to donate miles to relief organizations, helping to defray travel expenses for relief workers.

Members of American Express and Hilton Hotels rewards programs can donate rewards points to several charities for tsunami relief. Points are converted to cash contributions.
