Jacuzzi Brands, parent to Jacuzzi, Sundance Spas, Eljer, Zurn-Wilkins, Sanitan, Astracast and Rainbow, reported net sales increasing in the fiscal year 2004 first quarter 14.3 percent to $303.8 million, with net income of $3.4 million. Bath Product sales rose 18.2 percent, thanks largely to the rollout of the Jacuzzi product line at Lowe's.

Plumbing Product sales were up 10.9 percent, despite continued softness in the U.S. commercial and institutional markets. The company attributed the rise to increased market share, particularly in the commercial brass and Wilkins product lines.
