The Plumbing Manufacturers Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the U.S. Department of Commerce to enhance international trade opportunities for plumbing product manufacturers, and to help ensure a level playing field for them in global competition. By this action, PMI expects to better use export promotion programs, facilitate federal assistance for plumbing manufacturers facing foreign trade barriers and intellectual property rights violations, and improve the effectiveness of Commerce Dept. programs.
