The Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association installed its executive committee for 2005: Kevin A. Harpring, president (Harpring INc., Louisville, Ky.); Keith Wilson, president-elect (Miller Bonded Inc., Albuquerque, N.M.); Richard J. Cramer Sr., secretary/treasurer (Dee Cramer Inc., Holly, Mich.); Ronald Palmerick, vice president (AABCO Sheet Metal Co., Brooklyn, N.Y.); and Mark C. Watson, immediate past president (Climate Engineers Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa).

In other news, the group presented the following awards: Legislator Contractor of the Year Award to Jim Hausman of Hausman Metal Works and Roofing (St. Joseph, Mo.); Distinguished Legislative Service Award to Spence O'Brien, retired from Cal-Air (Whittier, Calif.); and the Chapter Executive Legislative Advocate of the Year to Judith C. Nagle, executive director of SMACNA of Southern Nevada.
