Barbara Higgens, executive director of the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute, and Evan Gaddis, president of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association, were elected to the board of the Council of Manufacturing Associations. The new board members began serving their three-year terms in December 2002.

The Council is an independently funded division of NAM, comprising more than 2000 manufacturing trade associations.
