More radiant training.

In our Radiant Training Guide published in the Radiant Heating Report 2003, we did not include information from two manufacturers:

  • REHAU offers a two-day Skill Builders Advanced Training course, Oct. 9-10 and Nov. 13-14, in Leesburg, Va. The course focuses on control strategies, including specific training using the company’s WarmSource software. The company also offers a three-day Skill Builder Basic Training course that covers the company’s Raupex PEX tubing and Everloc fitting system.

Both the Basic and Advanced classes are held intermittently at various cities. For additional information on the Skill Builders training, contact a regional REHAU sales rep or call REHAU Inc. at 800/247-9445.

  • Watts Radiant offers courses scheduled at the demand of local reps and wholesalers. The company offers a radiant basic seminar for contractors who are familiar with hydronics, but not radiant underfloor systems. In addition, an advanced seminar covers design and radiant component options.

The company says each course can be tailored for a couple of hours or a couple days. To organize one of these seminars or to find out more about a class that may already be scheduled for your area, Watts suggests staying in touch with your local supply house.
