The Service Roundtable delivers a variety of marketing, administrative and other business tools over the Internet at a cost affordable to the small companies that dominate the PHC industry.

Matt Michel recently was named CEO and President of the Service Roundtable™, a new contractor group formed by Service Nation Inc., which delivers a variety of marketing, administrative and other business tools over the Internet at a cost affordable to the small companies that dominate the PHC industry.

A 20-year veteran of the HVAC industry, Michel is well known to contractors. In addition to stints with leading manufacturers, such as Lennox and Titus, Michel started one of the industry’s first contractor groups and grew it to national recognition before joining the marketing research firm, Decision Analyst, where Michel has worked as the industry’s top marketing research consultant.

Michel is an award winning writer and highly sought after professional speaker. He publishes the popular Comanche Marketing e-mail newsletter and is the author of “Never Lose a Customer: Ten Steps to Creating an Outstanding Customer Retention Program.”

In addition to a bank of existing material, such as direct mail pieces, brochures for technicians to use, replacement sales tools and more, the Service Roundtable released a proposal stuffer this week designed to help contractors counter low bid competitors. The group is committed to releasing one or more business tools each week for the affordable price of $50 per month.

Service Roundtable has some two dozen industries slated for future expansion, according to Michel. “Each will use a similar format to the HVAC version, but each will be unique to the specifics of the industry in question. Each will be run by an individual from within the industry so that we ensure the nuances particular to company needs are being met.”
