EMCOR Group announced that its Energy & Technologies business has been awarded contracts worth $160 million for power- and energy-related projects from several private businesses and public sector entities including: Schering-Plough; Morongo Casino; Long Island Power Authority; City of Vernon, Calif.; Great Lakes Power Ltd.; and Syncrude Canada Ltd.

In other news, the company was recently named for the fifth year in a row to Fortune's annual Fortune 500 list. It ranked No. 387, up 17 spots from the 2003 list. EMCOR also was named for the fourth consecutive year to the Forbes Platinum 400 list, a ranking of the best big companies in America. The firm came in at No. 114.
