MoreThe Career Development Committee of the MCAA has announced that the recipient of its first Educator of the Year Award is professor Timothy Wentz of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The committee chose Wentz for this first-ever award in recognition of his commitment to MCAA's educational programs, his success in creating a student chapter at the University, and his willingness to assist the committee on a variety of educational and career development projects.
Wentz teaches in the University's Department of Construction Management. He is also faculty advisor to the Student Chapter of Mechanical/Electrical Specialty Contracting. The honor carries with it $5,000 in monetary recognition-$2,500 for the student chapter and $2,500 for professor Wentz.
