More than 25 million households will undergo some type of home improvement this year. So it comes as no surprise that the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) has struck an agreement with the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) to be a Presenting Partner at the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show and Conference (K/BIS) in Orlando, April 10-13, 2003.

K/BIS has become the world's leading international tradeshow dedicated to the kitchen and bath industry. The event draws more than 40,000 visitors, and offers conferences for the further education of industry professionals.

NARI president Julius Lowenberg stated in a release that NARI and NKBA feel strongly about continuing education, making the conference a natural partnership opportunity. Representatives from the NKBA and NARI began discussions in the spring of this year regarding the conference schedule, including specific programs being offered by the two organizations. More information will be available shortly at the show's official Web site, >a href="http://www.kbis.com">www.kbis.com.

NARI will also hold its own Annual Board of Directors Meeting at the Wyndham Orlando Resort during the week. The NARI activities will culminate on April 12 with the Evening of Excellence ceremony honoring the national winners of the 2003 Contractor of the Year Awards.
