Jacuzzi Reports YTD Bath, Plumbing Sales Increases

Jacuzzi Brands reported that sales in its Plumbing Products segment increases 6.6 percent ($8.6 million) in the first half of fiscal year 2004, which ended April 3, 2004. This is despite a continued weakness in the U.S. commercial and institutional construction markets, and the escalating costs associated with scrap iron and steel. The Bath Products segment saw a 21 percent increase in sales for the first half of 2004.
Jacuzzi is the parent company of Eljer, Zurn and Astracast.
