ISH North America will not only host the business conferences of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association and the American Supply Association; it will also be the site of a World Plumbing Council board meeting (Canada will be the host country of the 2008 World Plumbing Conference).

Other ISH events of note:

  • The Radiant Panel Association will hold its first meeting in Toronto and will meet with the Canadian Hydronics Council.

  • ASA and PHCC will present a joint business session to examine challenges to the distribution channel.

According to organizers of the show, total exhibitors are approaching 325, with 400 expected in time for the ISH NA Expo kick-off on October 31.

As the site of the first ISH-type show held in North America, Toronto will have more housing starts in 2002 than any other metro area in North America — more than 50,000 homes. Housing starts in North America will exceed 1.7 million and resales more than 5.5 million.
