recent promotions and appointments

  • Flowserve Corp. promoted Lewis M. Kling to president and chief executive officer. He succeeds Kevin E. Sheehan, who was named nonexecutive chairman of the board. Kling previously served as chief operating officer of the firm; the company says it does not currently plan to name a new COO.

  • Emerson Climate Technologies appointed Mark J. Bulanda as president of White-Rodgers. Bulanda joins White-Rodgers from Emerson's corporate office, where he was vice president of planning. He succeeds Earle Weaver, who was promoted to president of Liebert North America.

  • Michael Trenham has been named Speakman Co.'s chief financial officer. He has been with the company for six years, and most recently was a co-manager of its plumbing business unit.

  • Hansgrohe-North America has named the following executive leadership team: Klaus Grohe, chairman; Siegried Gaensslen, CEO; Kate Maselis, senior vice president & general manager; Craig Helenbrook, vice president of sales & product research; Manfred Becker, controller; Lars Christensen, product manager; Xaver Hake, operations manager - North America; and Renee Maxwell, organizational development/human resources manager.

  • Bradford White Corp. promoted R. Bruce Carnevale to vice president of sales. He will be responsible for domestic sales while working with marketing and product development. Carnevale also was awarded the prestigious Golden Eagle Award from AIMR for his support of the use of manufacturer's representatives.

  • BrassCraft announced the promotion of Peter Kattula to vice president of supply chain and planning from his previous position of vice president of operational planning. He will retain responsibility for his current operations strategy initiatives. The company also named George Werner as national accounts manager, BrassCraft Retail Division. Werner was previously sales manager-Eastern U.S. for Alsons.
