Henry Sharp (right) and Dano Tsutsui (left) of North Las Vegas-based Sharp Plumbing with “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” cast member Constance Ramos. Sharp Plumbing installed 850 feet of Gastite corrugated stainless-steel tubing into the 3,100-sq.-ft. home in just two hours with no prefab. Gas was needed to power two furnaces, a water heater, a separate oven and range, an outdoor barbeque and a fire pit for the Broadbent family.
"Once installed, the system gave us no problems during the testing phase," said Tsutsui. "We kept the leak test running for three days, but the system held firm with no drop in pressure."
The episode aired on Dec. 12, 2004.
