Here are some industry movers and shakers

  • Armstrong Hot Water Group, a division of Armstrong International, appointed Mechanical Solutions of South Windsor, Conn., as a Hot Water Group Specialist representing its full range of controls in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Rhode Island. The company has sales reps based in South Windsor; Providence, R.I.; Boston and Canaan, N.H.

  • Elkay named George Vandergriff and Alice Bihner, both with Renco Sales Inc., as Elkay's 2004 Wholesale Rep of the Year. Both work out of the agency's Corona, Calif., location and were honored at the 2005 Kitchen and Bath Industry Show. They received Rolex watches and plaques commemorating their achievement.

  • Leonard Valve Co. expanded its manufacturers rep network with firms in seven territories:
      - Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula will be represented by Badgerland Trading Co., New Berlin, Wis.

      - Michigan's Lower Peninsula will be represented by Balfrey & Johnson Inc., Oak Park, Mich.

      - Eastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey to be represented by Robert Burns Associates, Aston, Pa.

      - New York City and Long Island will be represented by DEA Sales Inc., Briarcliff, N.Y.

      - Upstate New York and eastern New York to be represented by Distributor Service Inc., Minoa, N.Y.

      - Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota to be represented by Hamel Associates Inc., Edina, Minn.

      - Kentucky will be represented by BBN Sales Inc., Cincinnati.

      - Eastern Missouri, southern Illinois and western Kentucky by Gateway Representatives, St. Louis.

      - Western Pennsylvania by Triumph Sales Inc., Pittsburgh.

  • Repco Associates Inc. has moved to 787 Industrial Dr., Elmhurst, IL 60126, 630/530-0010, fax 630/530-0011. The company covers northern Illinois and northwest Indiana and represents such manufacturers as Clarion Bathware, Flushmate, Halsey Taylor, McGuire, Metcraft, Moen and Sloan Valve Co.

  • Viessmann Mfg Co. (U.S.) appointed Osborne Co. of Livermore, Calif., as its sales representative for northern Nevada and northern California.
