PMI President Jim Westdorp announced the appointment of five new committee chairs who will serve three-year terms, which began in January. Casey Hayes, Haws Corp,.will serve on the Water Conservation Issue Committee with Shabbir Rawalpindawala, Kohler Co. Steve Tokarz, Brass Craft Mfg. Co., will serve on the Fair Trade Issue Committee with Frank Evans, MPC Plastics Inc. Jack Krecek, Elkay Mfg. Co., will serve on the Government Affairs Standing Committee with Al Walcutt, MPC Plastics Inc. Gary Pember, Moen Inc., will serve on the Member Services Standing Committee with Suzanne Shaw, The Chicago Faucet Co.

In other news, PMI technical director David W. Viola will once again serve as a member of the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association's National Standard Plumbing Code (NSPC) Committee, and the International Plumbing Code's (IPC) Development Committee. Additionally, Dave represents PMI's members on the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials' (IAPMO) Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) Committee.
