Rheem Manufacturing's Air Conditioning Division will establish a small assembly plant in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, in the first quarter of 2005 for its value line products.
It will be located in a 50,000-sq.-ft. facility adjacent to the existing Rheem Water Heater Division operation. The products planned for transition to Mexico are currently produced in the conpany's Trenton, S.C., location, which employs 25 people.
