Lori Sardinha-Costa, of Fall River, Mass., was voted the winner of American Standard's Sexiest Plumber Contest, a national competition to find plumbers with great looks, personality and dedication to the plumbing profession. Portraits and profiles of Sardinha-Costa and the other 12 finalists (all men) were posted on American Standard's Web site, where Americans voted for their favorite. Sardinha-Costa works at the family business, M. Sardinha & Sons plumbing. She won a free trip for two to Super Bowl XXXIX, and will be featured in American Standard's 2005 Sexiest Plumber Calendar, alongside the company's new Champion flushing system toilets.
