This year the Plumbing Manufacturers Institute celebrates its 30th anniversary as the “Voice of the Plumbing Industry.” Now representing manufacturers from nearly every plumbing product line and having increased its role in the legislative, regulatory, and codes and standards arenas, PMI “is celebrating the gains it has made for is members and the plumbing industry,” the organization stated.

PMI has adopted a new mission statement to reflect the institute's expanded scope and changes in the industry over the past 30 years. The PMI Fall Meeting will be held Oct. 16-19, 2005, at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.
