About 50 ECR International employees and their families volunteered their time July 10 for the 28th running of the Boilermaker Road Race. Ten ECR employees also ran the race. Originally started to thank the community for its support, today the race is credited as the largest 15K road race in the nation, with well over 10,000 runners participating from all over the world. This year's winner was Gilbert Okari of Kenya with a time of 43:22, while the top female finisher (pictured) with a time of 50:11 was Sally Barsosio of Kenya.
