To supply a single-source for hydronic radiant heating system needs, Burnham Corp., Lancaster, PA, has formed Burnham Radiant Heating Co., Inc. The new company will market a line of hydronic radiant products including boilers, radiant floor tubing, fittings, controls, and baseboard convectors, and provide support and training to installing contractors.

“We established Burnham Radiant Heating Co. to allow us to focus our efforts on the radiant marketplace,” says Burnham’s vice president of marketing and sales Robert Coons. “We have been involved with radiant heating for years, and this is a good way to demonstrate our customer commitments.”

The cornerstone of the new company’s product line is PEX tubing manufactured by Hewing in Ochtrup, Germany, the largest producer of PEX tubing in the world. The tubing will be available in 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch sizes for interior and 1-inch I.D. tubing for exterior applications. The tubing is warranted for 25 years and the entire system is covered under the company’s Winter Warmth Assurance warranty program, which covers 100 percent of the cost of qualified repairs for five years after the system is installed.

BRHC’s line of hydronic heating products will be available through the company’s national network of Burnham distributors, manufacturer’s representatives and America’s Home Heating Team contractors later this year.

The Team: Heading BRHC is Brian King, a founding director of the Radiant Panel Association. Prior to becoming president, King served as national sales director for Crown Boiler Co. and as president of Glowcore Boiler Corp.

Named to the post of manager of technical training is Walter Tittermary, who most recently served as vice president of market development for Vaillant Corp., and will now manage training schedules and develop radiant applications for Burnham boilers. “Training and support are two of the core areas we want to address with the founding of Burnham Radiant Heating Company,” says King. “We’re committed to supporting our customers, so they can focus on making their customers comfortable.”

Also on board is Gary Hayden as manager of engineering, and Jim Eisenbeis is marketing manager.
