NorthWestern Corp. (NYSE: NOR) has appointed Daniel Newell, senior vice president, to the additional position of interim president of Sunrise, Fla.-based Blue Dot Services Inc., the company's nationwide air-conditioning, heating, plumbing and related services partner. He is succeeding Patrick Johnson. In addition, Robert Kennedy has become executive vice president and chief financial officer of Blue Dot, succeeding Joan Papadakis. Reasons for resigning from the 4,300-team member company were stated in a press release as "to pursue other business interests." The company, which boasts more than 900,000 customers from 76 locations in 26 states, is currently conducting a search for a permanent CEO and president.
