Past president of the PHCC- National Association John Garvelink recently received the 2004 Ted Rees Leadership Award from the North American Technician Excellence board. The award, named for former Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute President Ted Rees, recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in the pursuit of technician excellence.
Garvelink is the founding chairman of the NATE program and is co-owner of Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Commercial Design Engineering, along with his wife, current PHCC President Mary Garvelink.
